Staff and the Zoning Commission recommended approval; 53 notices were mailed, and 19 were returned in favor with no returned opposition. No members of the public signed up to speak on the item. Council Member Mark White noted multiple community meetings between the developer and neighbors and moved to approve the rezoning as amended; the motion carried.
The approval reflects an amended site plan the developer presented that city staff and the district office found acceptable following neighborhood engagement. The site will proceed under the amended site plan and the conditional-use terms recorded in the council motion.
Council recorded the motion as carried and proceeded to the next agenda items.
