FCMAT report finds weaknesses in district business services; board cites ongoing fixes

The Monrovia Unified School District presented findings from a Fiscal Crisis & Management Assistance Team (FCMAT) review of the district’s business services department. Presenters and board members described frequent turnover in key positions, limited institutional knowledge, weak or outdated written procedures, unclear roles and weak internal controls.
