Property owner Neil Huff addressed the committee, saying he has lived on the parcel for 23 years and that a prior occupant operated a small furniture‑refinishing activity that led to the commercial zoning. Huff said he intends to remove a dilapidated mobile home and place a double‑wide trailer to improve the property for residential use.
Commissioners asked questions about zoning history; staff said the site likely received its commercial zoning when county zoning was established years ago. The resolution passed by voice vote.
