The Board of Trustees unanimously approved a second amendment to the development-improvement agreement for the Little Blue preschool expansion, extending the deadline for landscaping work while leaving sidewalks, bulb-outs and parking available to the public.
Jared, a town planner on the agenda, told trustees construction on public right-of-way improvements continues and that staff recommends the extension to allow Little Blue to pursue grant funding for landscaping. Angela, a town staff member, clarified the extension applies only to landscaping; sidewalks and parking will be in place and usable under the amendment.
Motion and outcome: A trustee moved to approve the second amendment to the development-improvement agreement; Trustee Erica seconded. The board voted unanimously to approve the extension.
Staff said the extension would give the developer additional time to secure landscaping grant funding and complete planting without affecting public access.
