Angela, a town staff member, clarified the extension applies only to landscaping; sidewalks and parking will be in place and usable under the amendment.
Motion and outcome: A trustee moved to approve the second amendment to the development-improvement agreement; Trustee Erica seconded. The board voted unanimously to approve the extension.
Staff said the extension would give the developer additional time to secure landscaping grant funding and complete planting without affecting public access.
