Josephine County commissioners approve multiple contracts, grants and travel requests

- IGA extension and signing authority (OHA passthrough): The board authorized an extension of an existing intergovernmental agreement (IGA) and delegated signing authority for that extension to the county’s prevention manager, Sean Martinez. The IGA referenced in staff remarks was identified as an extension (transcript reference: “80807”). Motion carried 3–0.
- Restorative Solutions LLC personal-services contract: The board approved continuing restorative-justice training and consulting services for the juvenile division, with training and consultations not to exceed a combined $20,000 per year. Motion carried 3–0.
- Welcome Home Oregon reentry and housing coordination services: The board approved a contract providing reentry and housing-coordination services capped at $71,100, funded with state grant dollars (no county general fund). Motion carried 3–0.
- Out-of-state travel (prevention conference): The board approved out-of-state travel for county staff to attend the National Emerging Drug Trends conference; staff said travel is already funded within the grant budgets. Motion carried 3–0.
- Intergovernmental agreement with Oregon State University Extension (4‑H programming): The board approved an IGA with Oregon State University Extension (4‑H/extension services). Motion carried 3–0.
