City holds public hearing on CAPER for FY2024-25; public seeks clarification on regional homelessness figures

During public comment a resident asked for clarification after seeing different homelessness figures in previous meetings and in the HUD homelessness count (the resident read numbers from a report and asked whether homelessness had increased or decreased). Staff responded that someone would follow up after the hearing to clarify the apparent discrepancy.
The council voted to approve the CAPER submission by a 3-0 vote.
