Seminole council approves resolution to join Purdue bankruptcy and related opioid settlements

The motion passed unanimously.
During discussion before the formal motion, a council member said the settlement participation “is about the opioid settlement” and added, “you guys know it’s not gonna cost us anything to get into.” That remark was made during the council’s consideration of the item and attributed by the clerk to a council member in the meeting record.
