At the Sept. 9 meeting the Allegany County Board of Education approved the consent agenda and adjourned by unanimous voice votes.
A motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Dr. Bohn and seconded by Miss Lepley; the board voted unanimously to approve. Earlier in the meeting the board read a closed-session summary from Aug. 12, 2025; the summary stated the board met in closed session at 1 p.m. at Central Office to discuss administrative functions, personnel matters, consultation with legal counsel, appointments to administrative positions, school resource officers, a state-board appeal and an employee arbitration; the Aug. 12 vote to enter closed session was recorded as unanimous with all five board members present.
At the meeting's close, Dr. Bond moved to adjourn and Mr. Green seconded; the motion passed by unanimous voice vote.
