The Coconut Creek City Commission on Sept. 11 approved most items on its consent agenda, including participation in opioid-related litigation settlements and authorization to reimburse certain capital costs from future bond proceeds. Commissioners also approved minutes from prior meetings and canceled two regular meetings later this year.
The consent agenda passed on a roll call vote with Commissioners Riedell, Welch, Brody, Vice Mayor Wasserman and Mayor Railey voting yes. Commissioner Bridal initially pulled one consent item — a contract for school crossing guard services — for discussion; after a presentation and questions the commission approved that item as well.
