Interim Deputy Clerk Hannah Meinkin outlined the vacancies and applications. For the Child Care Commission (20 seats total, 10 appointed by the board), the county received two applications to fill two vacancies; the board voted to appoint the recommended candidates after a motion by Supervisor Colbert and a second by Supervisor Rodoni. For CSA 29 (Paradise K), which has six seats, the board received one application and voted to appoint the applicant after a motion by Supervisor Milton Peters and a second; the item passed.
The board also reappointed James Campbell to one of two seats it holds on the Great Redwood Trail Agency board on a motion moved on behalf of President Sackett and seconded by Supervisor Milton Peters. All motions were approved with an "Aye" vote recorded; formal roll‑call results by member were not read into the record for these appointments.
Clerk staff indicated they will continue recruitment where vacancies remain and will provide appointment paperwork to successful candidates.
