CDBG ADA curb‑ramp contract: The board awarded the 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) ADA curb‑ramp project for nine intersections (22 ramps total) in the Juniper Hill neighborhood to NJS Concrete, Inc., for the base and alternate 1 in the amount of $158,373.75. Township engineer Kessler told the board the $160,400 grant covers the project; the vote to award carried 4-0.
Vehicle purchase: The board authorized purchase of a 2025 F‑350 chassis 4x4 super cab utility vehicle with plow, liftgate, post puller, light bar and radio through CoStars and specified vendors for a total of $138,417.87 (truck $86,063.00; liftgate/plow/post puller $43,657.97; light bar/radio $8,697.08). The motion carried 4-0.
Bucks County Redevelopment Authority (RDA) municipal grant applications: The board authorized seven resolutions (25‑16R through 25‑22R) to apply for 2026 RDA funding for police vehicles, public works vehicles, police records management software, North Fire/EMS station improvements, PennDow Middletown emergency squad, William Penn Fire Company, and Parkland training room renovation. Staff said awards are expected by December; the motion to authorize the applications carried 4-0.
Ending: These routine but budgetary items were approved unanimously; awards and grant applications will proceed to contracting or to RDA for consideration, and staff will return to the board to accept any awards.
