Commissioners postpone FY2026 budget hearings, enter executive session to review outstanding items

The court's motion (adopted unanimously) set a reconvening schedule: a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at noon to resume budget review, and two additional public-hearing sessions at 9 a.m. on Sept. 19 and Sept. 23, 2025, at the Historic Courthouse. The court's posted agenda for the continued meetings will include completion of the public hearings and the budget and related tax adoption actions (items 17'22 on the original agenda).
