RCSC repurposes Fairway billiard room as nonreserved community room; board says usage logs supported decision

Treasurer Anita Borsky said the Foundation reserved a room after members asked for an informal meeting place, then worked with management to modify the Fairway billiard room—removing some pool tables, adding darts, tables and chairs—and that "no money was spent on that room" by the Foundation. Borsky said the space was chosen after examining usage and availability.
President Tom Foster and other directors said staff reviewed sign-in logs and found little evidence of heavy, consistent use by prior groups; that low recorded usage contributed to the board’s decision to repurpose the room. "When we go in and use one of our facilities, show your card, sign in on the list so that we know what kind of usage is taking place," Foster said.
Board members acknowledged some members were upset and encouraged accurate sign-in practices to inform future facility decisions. Directors also said pool tables at Fairway were refurbished and remain available in reduced number.
