Members and employees flag navy polyester staff shirts; board says alternatives under review

RCSC directors acknowledged the complaints and said the Hawaiian shirts themselves had divided staff opinion in the past. "You are not alone in raising a concern about the shirts," President Tom Foster said. Director comments noted some employees favored darker shirts for work that gets dirty while others prefer lighter, more resort-like shirts for front-facing roles.
Board members said potential changes would require budget adjustments and further consideration. Directors said suggestions include using lighter colors or different shirts for pool staff and other roles; no purchase or rollout decision was announced.
