SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The Santa Barbara City Council on Sept. 9 recessed into a closed session to confer with the city attorney about pending litigation under Government Code section 54956.9(d)(1).
Mister Clark, a staff member, read the agenda item into the record, saying: "Recommendation that counsel hold a closed session to consider pending litigation pursuant to subsection d 1 of section 5 4 9 5 6.9 of the government code and take appropriate action as needed." No members of the public spoke on the item during the meeting.
