Commissioners approve Constitution Week proclamation, appoint Kaylee Greenwood to library board

The Moffat County Board of Commissioners on Sept. 9 approved a proclamation designating Sept. 17–23 as Constitution Week and appointed Kaylee Greenwood to the county library board of trustees to fill a finishing term.
Anne Dodd, registrar of the Augusta Wallahan chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and Lou Anne Klein, regent of the chapter, presented the proclamation and invited residents to a bell‑ringing event on Sept. 17. Dodd and Klein read the proclamation text explaining Constitution Week commemorates the framing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.
A commissioner moved to designate Sept. 17–23 as Constitution Week; the motion was seconded and carried by unanimous voice vote. Later in the meeting a motion to appoint Kaylee Greenwood to the library board was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
