Janda, identified in the meeting as the county’s chief procurement officer, told the board the vendor had reviewed the scope of work and was confident in the bid submitted. “We would like to recommend that the request for proposal for janitorial services be awarded to Boatman and Sons Cleaning in the amount of annually a $118,089.60,” Janda said.
Commissioners asked no substantive questions during the presentation. The board moved to award the contract and authorized staff to forward the contract for review and signature; the procurement officer said the contract should be back before the board next week for finalization.
No financing detail beyond the annual contract amount was discussed in the record; commissioners approved the motion by voice vote.
