The Lincoln Park City Council approved the Lincoln Park Administrators Association agreement and confirmed appointments for department heads with two‑year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2025.
By resolution the council appointed John Kizzoo as director of the Department of Public Services, Dennis Anderson as director of Parks and Recreation, and Monique Guerrero as director of Community Planning and Development. The resolution referenced Chapter 4 of the city charter governing appointments and directed that compensation and fringe benefits for these positions be outlined in the Administrators Association agreement.
Council moved and supported the agreement and appointments; a roll call vote recorded all members present voting yes. The mayor was authorized to execute the administrators’ agreement on behalf of the city.
Council discussion included a brief exchange about contract wording that some members said had persisted unchanged for many years; however, no amendment to the administrators’ agreement was proposed during the vote. The council did not specify individual salary amounts in the meeting minutes; it directed that compensation be consistent with the approved Administrators Association agreement.
