Several awards and solicitations were tabled for later meetings.
BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Board of Commissioners approved multiple routine appointments, contracts and budget adjustments at its Sept. 9 open business meeting and took final action on several items the board said were time-sensitive.
The board reappointed Pam Hickman and Laverne (Laverda) Jones to the Board of Community Guardians with terms to expire Sept. 30, 2029, and approved routine licensing, claims and personnel items. The board also approved a provisional property-tax exemption under Idaho Code 63-1305(c) for Calvary Chapel Star Inc., and adopted a variety of annual contract renewals and service agreements.
Why it matters: The bundle of administrative approvals keeps county operations funded and services running into the fiscal year end. Several procurement items were tabled for further review, which defers awards but preserves competition.
