Staff said the touchscreen system will reduce the visibility of control panels to juveniles and add safeguards. The contract award will use funds already budgeted for the maintenance line, but staff must move the amount to the appropriate line item before payment.
The motion to award the contract was made and seconded; commissioners voted in favor.
