Wylie Parks and Recreation Board approves Aug. 11 minutes, adjourns; no October meeting

At its Sept. 8 meeting the Wylie Parks and Recreation Board approved the Aug. 11 regular and work-session minutes and voted to adjourn; no meeting will be held in October.
The Wylie Parks and Recreation Board on Sept. 8 approved minutes from its Aug. 11 regular meeting and Aug. 11 work session and then adjourned, with no meeting scheduled for October.
The approvals were procedural: Board member Scott moved to approve the Aug. 11 regular meeting minutes; Board member Matt seconded, and the board recorded four yes votes and three absences. Board member Tara moved to approve the Aug. 11 work-session minutes; Board member Scott seconded and that motion also carried with four yes votes and three absences.
At the close of the meeting Board member Matthew moved to adjourn; Board member Sarah seconded. The motion carried with four yes votes and three absences. The board noted there will be no Oct. meeting and will reconvene in November.
The votes recorded at the Sept. 8 meeting were limited to routine procedural items; no ordinance, contract or policy decisions were taken.
