The Carson City Culture and Tourism Authority Board of Directors voted Sept. 8 to elect Andrew Reno as chair and Diana LaForge as vice chair, each with terms expiring at the January 2027 CTA meeting. Board members moved and seconded the motions on both offices; the chair election motion was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. A motion to elect LaForge as vice chair was similarly moved, seconded and approved. The board also approved the minutes for its Aug. 11 meeting and adopted the consent agenda by voice votes. The board chair announced a brief technical recess at the 35-minute mark of the meeting while staff reset meeting equipment. Newly seated member Garrett Lapeer was introduced earlier in the meeting.
