Board members and administration responded that Policy 9-15 requires the board to approve SAOs annually so they may use school and district names and affiliate with programs. The administration explained one SAO was omitted from the agenda because it had not submitted required paperwork; that organization could be added later after the district received documentation. The board approved the SAO item under facilities by voice vote.
