The Yankton City Commission on Sept. 8, 2025, approved the minutes from its Aug. 18 budget work session and its Aug. 25 regular meeting and voted to pay the city’s current schedule of bills.
Mayor Michael Villanueva opened the routine-business votes by calling for approval of the minutes and asking for a motion. After a motion and second were made, Villanueva asked, “Any commission discussion? Anyone from the public? All in favor say aye.” The minutes were recorded as approved.
Later, the commission took up the schedule of bills. A motion to pay the bills was made and seconded. The commission then voted by roll call. Commissioners recorded as voting “aye” were Brunick; Sarta; Conkling; Hanoff; Mosher; Spencer; Benson; Birch; and Mayor Michael Villanueva. Villanueva announced, “Bills will be paid.”
No amendments or conditions were reported in the meeting minutes for either action.
