The commission's consent calendar contained five items: the July meeting summary, the July claims and financial report, the August claims and financial report, a support letter for SB 858 (as listed in the packet), and a contract with Mendocino County Information Systems. Commissioners raised clerical and formatting questions about the draft minutes and claims during the consent discussion; staff answered questions about itemized charges, domain registration, an out-of-agency Internet service application for Fort Bragg and other line items.
A motion to adopt the consent calendar was made from the floor. No public comments were recorded on the consent items. The commission approved the consent calendar on a roll call vote with yes votes from Commissioners Ward, Gonzales, Horsley, Mahoney, Roden and Chair Mulhern; commissioners Klein, Hasik and Crane were absent.
Following the oath and consent vote, the commission proceeded to its regular agenda.
