The Westminster mayor and common council recorded several routine actions on Sept. 8.
Minutes: The council voted to approve the mayor and council meeting minutes from Aug. 25, 2025. Councilmember Gilbert moved to approve the minutes; Councilmember Dayhoff seconded; members voted “aye” and the minutes were approved.
Consent calendar: The council approved a consent calendar containing three items by voice vote. Councilmember Dayhoff moved approval and the motion passed with members signifying “aye.”
Annexation: The council introduced Annexation Resolution No. 25‑08 (annexation no. 89) to begin the process to annex approximately 1.47 acres at 531 Old Westminster Pike; Councilmember Hoffman moved to introduce the resolution and Councilmember Anne Gilbert seconded. The council adopted the introduction by voice vote.
