Committee approves minutes and parking change; design hearing continued for further review

A motion to approve was moved and seconded during the action-items portion of the agenda; the committee approved the change by a recorded voice vote of 5-0.
Other items on the agenda were public hearings on proposed 2027 reconstruction designs for Badger Avenue, Sixth Street, one block of Eighth Street and Rankin Street. Those design proposals were presented and received public comment; committee members and staff discussed next steps but did not take final action. Staff said the designs will return to the committee at the next meeting as action items for a recommendation to the full council.
