The Pryor Economic Development Trust Authority on an 4-0-1 vote appointed Scott Miller to serve as the EDTA representative on the Main Street advisory committee.
The appointment fulfills a provision of the memorandum of understanding between the EDTA and Pryor Main Street that allows the EDTA to designate a member to Main Street’s advisory committee. The EDTA moved and seconded the nomination during the meeting and completed a roll-call vote.
Trustees discussed Scott Miller’s downtown experience before the vote. Trustee Miller abstained; the remaining voting trustees voted in favor. Board staff called the roll to record the outcome.
The seat is intended to link EDTA oversight and Main Street project work. The appointment does not itself authorize any project spending or alter previously approved budgets; any EDTA financial recommendations tied to Main Street must return to the EDTA or city council as required.
The EDTA will notify Main Street and execute the MOU step necessary to place Miller on the advisory committee.
