Why it matters: A predictable agenda deadline improves transparency and gives supervisors and the public time to review materials. At the same time, the board agreed it must retain the ability to amend the agenda for true emergencies.
Next steps: Supervisors agreed to “try to do better” and resume the noon-Thursday practice where feasible and practical; staff will continue to accept emergency amendments when circumstances warrant and will work to make meeting attachments available online when possible.
