The Washoe County Board of Adjustment on Sept. 4 elected Peter Gishon as chair and Rob Pierce as vice chair as part of routine officer nominations.
Gishon accepted the nomination and his appointment was approved unanimously by voice vote. Rob Pierce was nominated and approved as vice chair by the board.
Earlier in the meeting the board approved the agenda with the withdrawal of one item (amendment of conditions case WAC25-015 for WSUP23-34), and members postponed approval of the July 3 draft minutes to a future meeting after one member reported not receiving the packet materials.
Chair Pierce presided at the start of the meeting; after the vote he passed the gavel to Gishon to continue the remainder of the agenda. No public comment was recorded on the nominations.
These procedural votes were decided by voice vote and recorded as unanimous on the record.
