Finance Director/Treasurer John Walters presented the packet of carryover requests. Councilmembers noted the general fund carryover amount was unusually low (approximately $74,000–$75,000), which councilmembers described as a positive sign that previously budgeted projects are being completed in their intended fiscal years. Councilmember Karen asked staff to follow up specifically on the Jefferson Masonic pump station item — Walters said the work was largely complete and council requested a later explanation about whether the outstanding balance reflected a pending progress payment or a reimbursement request.
The motion to approve the carryovers was moved by Councilmember Karen and supported by Councilmember Frederick. The motion passed on a voice vote.
