The Carson City Historic Resources Commission on Sept. 3 unanimously approved most of an application to alter the exterior of the Norcross House at 412 North Division Street while excluding a proposed wrought-iron storm door and adding conditions for later administrative review.
The commission voted to approve HRC-2025-0332, which permits replacement of the front door, replacement of exterior porch and balcony light fixtures, installation of a new sign on existing posts and a new fence and gates at the front walk and northwest side of the property. The approval explicitly excluded the wrought-iron storm door; the commission directed the applicant to return with specifications for any storm door at a later date.
