The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority on Sept. 2, 2025 heard a construction update on the county clinic project describing recent progress on groundwater mitigation, structural fills, and plumbing preparations.
When asked, Jesse (no last name provided) said the project has progressed "as far as mitigating the issues we've had with groundwater," that most structural fills are in place and compacted, and that crews were "creeping up on footings." Jesse said the team planned to finalize a gravity drain to continue draining the foundation and footing drains, that plumbers had begun under-slab plumbing work, and that "you should see concrete trucks hopefully by the end of the week."
The presiding officer thanked Jesse for his work and noted Jesse's volunteer efforts supporting the project and other community service activities.
No board motion or vote was recorded on the clinic project during the meeting; the update was provided for informational purposes and to keep authority members apprised of construction timing and groundwater mitigation progress.
