Staff noted the existing studio had been upgraded during the COVID period and that the room integrates cameras, a control system and streaming interfaces; ProAV — the company that originally installed the studio hardware and software — quoted $4,500 to replace the failed monitor and tie it into the larger system.
A motion to table the purchase failed on a 2–3 vote. On a subsequent motion to accept the ProAV proposal and authorize up to $4,500 from the facility maintenance and repair fund, the board voted 4–1 in favor.
