City staff say farewell to Ashley Wright as she moves to new role

City officials on the call said today is Ashley Wright’s last day and offered public thanks for her service.

One speaker described Wright’s tenure: "When I got here, she was our city clerk. And then, when our old community activities library director retired, promoted her to her current position and she and I have been professionally thick as sleeves for many years. We've, she's taught me a lot about library land and, has been a really good colleague and associate for for many, many years.
