He asked supervisors to use committee review time to analyze department budgets and collaborate with staff so any proposed amendments can be published and shared with the public before final deliberations.
Hintz said the process is intended to shorten the end‑of‑year amendment cycle by front‑loading questions and dialogue, and that the administration will coordinate listening sessions with local governments and supervisors. He closed by noting the workshops will include budget assumptions, major program changes and the external factors affecting the county’s fiscal outlook.
