The Alamance County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved two separate appointment items during its Sept. 2 meeting.
The board voted to appoint Dewey Braxton to fill one unexpired term on the Historic Properties Commission; the term expires Dec. 31, 2026. County staff said two applications were on file for a single vacancy. A motion to appoint Braxton passed unanimously.
The board also approved Burlington's recommendations for the county library committee and appointed Timothy Check and Debbie Johnson. That motion likewise passed unanimously.
