Desert Recreation District outlines day-to-day park care and program expansion after Cathedral City annexation

"Since July 1, we've hit the ground running," Cynthia Marchecho, DRD community services supervisor, said, listing actions that include setting up office space, onboarding recreation staff, streamlining reservations and vandalism reporting, and putting staff in parks daily to keep them clean and safe.
