Nonresident developer updates council on preliminary subdivision plans near Patty Corner cemetery

"My name is Larry King, and I'm not a resident of Kingsburg, but this is involving the sphere of influence for Kingsburg," King said. He described the project as being at "design 3 or 4" and said some lots in the proposal would remain at about 1 acre and three‑quarter acre sizes, similar to nearby parcels. He said a church sits on the corner and that surrounding lots range from three‑quarter to two acres and "those look to stay the same."
King told the council he expects to submit the plan "by the thirtieth of this month" for lot allocation. He said the developer has been speaking with CID and SKF as part of the design process. The remarks were offered as an informational update during public comment; no formal council action or vote followed King’s presentation.
The council did not take action on the item at the meeting; King provided the update as part of the public‑comment period.
