The Oroville City Council on Sept. 2 unanimously approved routine business and a contract amendment with Table Mountain Golf Course and voted 6-0 with one recusal to provide a table at the Oroville Economic Alliance annual barbecue.
Council members voted to adopt the consent calendar without objection. The council then took up a proposed three-year amendment to the longstanding operating agreement with Table Mountain Golf Course. Under the amendment described at the meeting, the city would accept reduced revenue shares to allow the golf-course operator to retain additional funds for city-approved capital work at the course over the three-year period. The council approved the contract amendment and authorized the mayor to sign.
Later the council approved providing a table at the Oroville Economic Alliance annual barbecue, scheduled for Sept. 11 at Centennial Plaza. Vice Mayor Smith recused from that vote; the clerk announced the motion passed with six yes votes and one recusal.
The meeting included other routine reports and public comments but no ordinance adoptions or final readings on new regulations.
