County employees raise $665 for Women in Need in August dress-down fundraiser

Kenny said Women in Need has worked with victims of domestic and sexual violence in Franklin and Fulton counties since 1976 and serves approximately 1,700 victims and their significant others each year. Kenny reported that 129 employees across 24 departments participated, producing $665 in donations.
Sierra Snyder, representing Women in Need, thanked county employees and said the donation will support confidential, free services for victims and survivors.
Commissioners praised the employees for their generosity and took photographs with the nonprofit representatives.
