Operators of 357 West Broadway LLC, doing business as Pearl and Box Heroes, appeared before the Manhattan City liquor-license committee seeking to add sidewalk seating and change the method of operation to include sidewalk service. Kenneth Crum and Aaron Lorett, operating partners, told the committee they intend to use small bistro-style tables and that service would happen from within the storefront perimeter.
Committee members stressed that all service must remain within the applicant’s marked perimeter and that adequate clearances for pedestrians must be preserved. The applicants agreed to a 10 p.m. closing time for outdoor seating, confirmed there would be no outdoor music or TVs, and said they would ensure table spacing allowed staff to serve while preserving a clear path for pedestrians.
No public commenters spoke against the application during the hearing. The committee indicated those stipulations would be recorded in any approval documents.
