The Town Board recorded the following formal actions during its Aug. 27 meeting:
1) Pollinator grant commitment — Approved Motion: "Authorize the Town Supervisor to sign the letter of commitment for the New York Pollinator Conservation Fund partnership to install two pollinator gardens in Rec Park." Moved by Councilmember Jacob; seconded by Councilmember Julian. Outcome: Approved by unanimous voice vote (all "Aye"). The commitment is a no-cost state-funded grant; staff will file the signed paperwork and coordinate volunteers and milestones.
2) Climate Smart Communities task force — Resolution 59 — Approved Motion: Adopt Resolution 59 to reconstitute the Climate Smart Communities task force, establish annual appointments and allow designation of a coordinator to document activities for state certification. Moved by Councilmember Jacob; seconded by Councilmember Julia. Outcome: Approved by unanimous voice vote (all "Aye"). Staff will proceed with appointments and coordinator designation.
3) Attorney-client session — Approved (motion to enter executive session) Motion: Move into attorney-client session. Seconded by Bill. Outcome: Approved by voice vote; meeting entered executive session at the end of the public meeting.
