The Klamath County Board of Commissioners on Sept. 2 approved Amendment No. 1 to the county’s intergovernmental agreement with the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services, Building Codes Division, updating administrative contacts and adding a contract term through June 30, 2028.
County Community Development staff said the agreement covers third‑party inspections performed at Intellifab, a prefabrication plant. The amendment adds the new manager name, Blaine Curry, updates the county’s interim building official to Stephanie Brown, and sets the agreement expiration to June 30, 2028.
Stephanie Brown, interim building official, moved the board to approve Amendment 1 and authorize her to sign. The motion received a second and passed by voice vote.
County staff told the commissioners that the contract change is administrative in nature and maintains the county’s ability to conduct or coordinate third‑party building inspections at the Intellifab facility under state cooperative arrangements.
