Board approves naming of new advanced manufacturing center for Senator James Abner

Williamson told the board the facility would be the first structure in South Dakota to carry Abner’s name, and he noted that Senator John Thune helped secure initial funding for the building.
Board members offered remarks in support of the naming resolution; a motion to approve the naming carried with all board members voting in favor.
