Administration said three scholars received services at Boyd Elementary last year with improvements in behavior and social skills; two scholars are scheduled to receive services this school year at Boyd.
Arts and enrichment agreements: The board reviewed renewal agreements for the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra’s strings-in-schools program and an arts partnership (described in the packet as Asparmore/Aspermore Arts/Jackson) to deliver arts programming at multiple elementary and returning schools across the district. Administration provided a long list of participating schools for arts and strength programs.
