The Granbury City Council on Sept. 2 approved three separate land-use items: a residential replat at 851 North Keith Street, a zoning change to allow a convenience store with fueling (truck fueling area) at Loop 567, and a specific-use permit to authorize used auto sales, repair and implement/ATV/trailer/golf-cart sales at 4603 East Highway 377. Each measure passed unanimously, 6–0.
Replat (851 N. Keith St.): Community Development staff described the request as a replat to split an approximately half-acre residential parcel into two lots. Staff and the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval; the city reported public notice was sent to 19 property owners and one letter in support was received. The council approved the replat without public comment.
Zoning change (Loop 567/US 377): Council considered Ordinance No. 25-552 to change zoning from interim holding to planned development/light commercial for a convenience store with fuel pumps and truck fueling at 3010 (or 3210 in record’s alternate references) Loop 567. Staff said infrastructure will be available, the comprehensive plan supports the change, and public notice produced no responses in opposition. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval. Council adopted the ordinance 6–0.
Specific-use permit (4603 E. Highway 377): The council considered Ordinance No. 25-553 to approve a specific-use permit allowing used auto sales, major auto repair, tractor and implement sales, ATV sales and trailer/golf-cart sales in a light commercial zoning district. Staff said many of the requested uses already existed on site and recommended approval subject to standard conditions (parking and display on improved hard surface). Attorney/agent Bill Baird spoke for the applicant and thanked staff for assistance securing an off-site sanitary sewer easement; the council approved the SUP 6–0.

Staff said public notice requirements were met for all items and the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval on each. Council members had brief clarifying questions about sewer availability for the replat and about site plans and landscaping for the commercial projects; staff and applicants responded. The approvals clear the way for the applicants to proceed under the zoning and permit conditions set by city code.
