Board tables FIAC redistricting report, refers recommendations back to Facilities Committee

The Board tabled a preliminary redistricting report from the Facilities and Infrastructure Advisory Committee (FIAC) and directed that it be returned to the Facilities Committee for further review.
“As the facilities chair, I'd like to pull that back to the facilities committee so that we can review this and then bring it forth to the board, and maybe at a later date,” said Mister Gessford, the Facilities Committee chair, requesting more time after board members received the report shortly before the meeting.
Gessford explained the report contained many recommendations and movements that required detailed review. A FIAC representative thanked the board for the opportunity to present and said the committee had gone through the proposals carefully. “We really went through this with a fine tune comb, and we look forward to the opportunity to present it,” the committee member said.
No formal vote was recorded in the transcript; the action recorded in the meeting was to table the report and have the Facilities Committee continue review before returning a revised recommendation to the full board.
