TWC submits sunset self‑evaluation report to Sunset Commission; staff plans fall review meeting

Karen Latta announced that the Texas Workforce Commission submitted its sunset self‑evaluation report to the Sunset Commission on the prior Friday, ahead of the deadline. "We sent that in on Friday ahead of the deadline and, you all should have received 1 hard copy in your office," Latta said.
Latta said the report is publicly available on the TWC website under agency reports and that staff created a SharePoint site for Sunset Commission staff containing exhibits and attachments requested during the review process. She told commissioners Sunset staff will conduct the agency review this fall and that TWC had begun planning an introductory meeting for late September.
Commissioners did not take formal action on the submission; the report submission was an informational staff update. A commissioner thanked Latta and her response team for the work.
