Staff said most of Fourth Street already carries no-parking signage, but a short loading/unloading zone adjacent to the school had been signed for day-time loading; parents sometimes used that space, leaving no room for the full-size accessible bus with a rear lift.
Councilmember Bruns moved to adopt Resolution 25-43; the motion was seconded and passed on roll call with the following recorded votes: Bruns, yes; Pick, yes; Goodchild, yes; Quick, yes; Jerkin, yes. The motion carried unanimously.
Staff said the change will be limited to a small area intended to fit the full-size bus and allow it to load and exit. No funding or construction work beyond signage placement was detailed at the meeting.
